About Me
Hi, my name is Eric Stricker and I am a programmer and game developer. My primary programming language is C#, and Unity is the game engine that I use for most of my games. I've participated in multiple game jams and also develop cipher programs in C++.
My Recent Projects
Void Bounty (Unfinished)
February 2022 - May 2022
This was a long term project that I worked on during one of my semesters at College, however once my coop started during
the summer I had less time to work on it and never managed to finish it. It's a top-down shooter built with the concept
of combining Quake and Hotline Miami together (much like my first game Wreckage of the Korvalis, but massively revamped
with all of the new things I'd learned in the years since then).
Features unique tilesets for both floor and walls. I used an updated version of the level editor from Remnants of the Abyss,
and also added Triggers which allow for things like secret doors, levers, monsters that are required to be killed in order
to progress, etc. It also features a time-slow feature which slows everything (audio included) down and allows for you to assess
the situation you're in before commiting to an action. The biggest change from my previous games is to an isometric, with
all objects having both a side and a top within few. This required a massive amount of changes to the logic of most items compared
to my previous projects, but it improves the gameplay dramatically and is completely worth it.

Remnants of the Abyss
December 2020 - March 2021
This top down suvival shooter is inspired by the classic Zombies game mode from the Call of Duty franchise, but turned from an FPS into a top down shooter and mixed with the aesthetic of retro FPS games like Doom, Quake, and Dusk. It features an entirely custom made level editor so that anyone can make and play their own maps in the game! In addition there are six levels, each with their own unique features such as limited lighting, special zombies, and more!
